To create a submenu, you can easily arrange the items within the menu by dragging and dropping them into the desired order. Follow these steps:
- Log in to your store's admin panel.
- Head to the "Navigation" under Sales channels → Online store section.
- Click on the menu which you want to add a submenu ("Footer menu" or "Main menu").
- In the menu editor, locate the menu item that you want to serve as the main parent item for the submenu.
- Drag the desired menu item that you want to include as a submenu and position it underneath the main parent item.
- Arrange the submenu items (up and down) in the desired order by dragging them within the submenu.
- To access additional configuration options for each item, click the arrow on the right of the item.
In the example below, by dragging the page named 'Terms and Conditions' and 'Policies' under the 'Legal' menu item, you create a submenu. And, by dragging the 'Refund Policy', 'Privacy Policy', and 'Shipping Policy' pages under the sub menu named 'Policies', you create the mega menu for the 'Legal' item.
When creating a submenu, each submenu item will be treated like a normal menu item. This means you can configure additional settings such as Link Title, and Link rel for each submenu item.
By following these steps, you can easily create and customize submenus and mega menus, allowing you to organize your navigation menu with a hierarchical structure. This will helps visitors to your store easily navigate through different sections and access specific pages or collections.
