reCAPTCHA eliminates bots action on the site, Zencommerce allows you to use both visible and invisible reCAPTCHA.
It is recommended to use reCAPTCHA invisible!
Note: Form reCAPTCHA can cause errors in the functioning of the store if TPL files are modified!
To set up reCAPTCHA on your website, kindly follow below steps:
I. Generating a public key and private reCAPTCHA
1. Log in or create a Google account
2. Visit https://www.google.com/recaptcha and click on "Get reCAPTCHA"
3. Enter a label name for the new key, select the type of reCAPTCHA (reCAPTCHA V2 - visible and Invisible reCAPTCH - invisible)
4. Enter a domain name after reading the rules, accept it and sign up.
5. You will receive two keys: site Key --> public key and Secret Key --> private key.
II. How do I enable reCAPTCHA store
1. Log into the store admin panel
2. Go to Settings > Advanced > Security
3. Set the option "Secure shop's Forms with reCAPTCHA" to "YES"
4.Paste the generated keys in the appropriate fields.
Note: If we selected reCAPTCHA invisible while key generation then we need to set Invisible option to "YES"
5. Select for which the forms to be included reCAPTCHA and save the changes
