Integration with Google Merchant Center Print

1. Register a new account at 

https://www.google.com/retail/merchant-center/

If you already have an account then just login.



2. Accept the Terms of Service and activate the Google Merchant Center for your account.

3. The next step is to verify and claim your website. So scroll bit down and click on the drop down arrow of 'Alternative methods'.  Select a verification method using HTML-tag. 

 

 

 

4. Copy the generated HTML tag and paste it in the store admin panel, So kindly navigate to Configuration > Integrations > own Integrations and paste it in the "Page Header - <Head>" and save it.




5. After adding verification code, go back to your 'Google merchant center' and click on 'Verify' Button. Once the website is correctly verified and claimed, we would be notified of the same. The next step is to complete the process by clicking on the 'FINISH' Button.


6. The next step is to specify the file with the products on the store. So go to Products > Feeds and click on '+' icon.


7. Phase I - Select the country to which you are adding products and specify the name of the file for the products. 


8. Phase II - Select the method for transferring your data files.


9. Phase III - Under 'Register a new feed', Enter the file name (The file name you enter here must exactly match the file name you submit to Google Merchant Center ), In the fetch frequancy You need to specify how often the data should be collected from your store. In the File URL', you need to add a link which would be generated from your admin panel.



10. enerate the 'File URL' Kindly go to Configuration > Integration > Other. Click on setup button of 'Google Shopping' and set it as active and click on update categories button.  To get the feed URL, click on 'Product Feed XML'. Copy the generated FEED URL and paste it in the above step.

11. Download will take place according to the schedule. Inorder to speed up, click on the 'FEED NAME' and choose 'FETCH NOW'.
