Each product has its main category, however, can be visible in the store in many categories, to customers it can make items easier to find. With, for example. A monitor-TV tuner device, you can make that appear both in the category of Monitors as well as TV.
To add a product to multiple categories
- Go to CATALOG > PRODUCTS and using filters to find the product you want to add categories to.
- By clicking on the name of the product, or from the action menu, go to edit it.
- From the menu on the left select the tab Additional categories and using the tree, select the category in which the product needs to be visible. Save changes by clicking Save.
For any product main category, you do not need to select the visibility. The product always is visible. To change the main category, you must go to Basic data and make changes to the section Location.
