Social logins allows your buyers to register and login with their social media accounts(Facebook or Google Plus) into your store. The option will be visible in the checkout process, user registration and user login section.
To use this feature on your store, it is mandatory to have SSL(HTTPS) on all the pages. Without SSL, the use of social function log-in is Impossible.
To activate social login, kindly go to Configuration > Customers > Registration
If your store do not have SSL(HTTPS) activated then below note would be displayed. So you need to enable the option and then we can activate social logins. Make sure you have purchased SSL and is installed on your domain.
To activate HTTPS on all the pages, kindly go to Configuration > Administration, system > Security :: Set HTTPS support option to Everywhere and save it.
If the store does not display any message, select which social logins are to be active and save the changes
After activation, the ability to log on using Facebook and Google+ will appear during registration, as well as in the second step of the order.
